Vehicle Description

Here is for your enjoyment a super rare 2002 Jaguar XJR100 1 of 500 ever built in Anthracite over Warm Charcoal interior color combination. For those who are not familiar with the Jaguar lineup, the XJR100 was the most expensive model in the Jaguar lineup in 2002.

Own a timeless modern classic with this 2002 Jaguar XJR 100, 1 of 270 produced for the North American Market and 1 of 500 Globally. With a clean title and only 82k miles on the odometer, this black beauty is perfect for spirited weekend drives and reliable enough to be a daily-driver. The previous owner has cherished it for 12 years. Paintwork looks glossy and clean and it is apparent it has been stored in a garage all its life. Don't miss out on this opportunity to own a piece of automotive history. From the original Audi RS6 to the legendary BMW E39 M5, the benchmark for sleeper sedans has always been very high in terms of build quality, understated looks, and sheer brutal power. However, an often missed and underrated gem in the sleeper sedan class is not a German-made powerhouse. It’s the awesome Jaguar XJR 100. Built to commemorate Jaguar’s founder’s 100th birthday, the XJR 100 (the X308 model, to be precise) is a crown jewel in the sports sedan class epitomizing understated elegance. It is a caged monster compared to its rivals. With subtly aggressive styling cues and a jet-fighter-like block under the hood, not much else can rival the XJR 100 in pure timeless style, elegance, and power. The XJR 100 was fitted with Jaguar's most powerful road-going engine at the time - the 375 bhp / enormous 387 ft lbs torque supercharged and intercooled 4.0-litre AJ-V8 engine, which is matched to a five-speed automatic transmission. This entertaining but refined combination accelerates the car quietly from 0 to 60 mph in 5.3 seconds and a governed top speed of 155mph. Confidence-inspiring roadholding and high-speed stability are delivered by the microprocessor-controlled adaptive damping of Jaguar's sports-oriented Computer Active Technology Suspension (CATS). Like the standard XJR, the XJR 100 limited edition is equipped with cruise control, stability control, traction control, and front and side airbags. But don’t be fooled. Even though this was a big Jag and provided limousine-like comfort for its passengers, the ‘R’ in the name meant it was sporty and dynamic when the driver wanted it to be. This was made possible thanks to its uprated springs and anti-roll bars. Its re-tuned steering system enhanced the feeling of the road through the steering column, especially when cornering. The sports sedan was powerful enough to match all its rivals; it cornered and handled like a big sports car if you wanted it to. The sensation of speed was matched to the sensation of comfort, making the XJR 100 a perfect luxury sports sedan. Besides the standard XJR features, the 2002 Jaguar XJR 100 has the optional cross-drilled Brembo brakes and adaptive dampers, Autoblog reports. It also has trim-specific ‘anthracite’ paint, BBS wheels, and red-stitched charcoal leather sport seats. Plus, it has heated front and rear seats, a 6-disc CD changer, rear parking sensors, a sunroof, and navigation. Red stitching also features on the leather of the centre console and door trims, as well as the new designs of R Performance leather-covered sports steering wheel and Momo gear knob. The grey-stained bird's-eye maple veneer on the dashboard subtly carries the Jaguar XJR 100 name on the passenger side, and the car is also equipped with unique XJR 100 tread plates front and rear. Other standard interior features on the XJR 100 include a DVD navigation system, a premium sound audio system with CD autochanger and nine speakers, automatic climate control, power memory steering column, dual-band fixed telephone, electrochromatic rearview mirror, trip computer, front cup holders and convenient audio and phone controls mounted on the steering wheel.

Stunning garage kept beauty with front and rear parking sensors, 19" Chrome Custom wheels, brand new Pirelli PZero tires, and both keys and manuals! Won't last at this price! Call Val now at (919)624-3033 and set up a time to come by and test drive this car.
